TOUR TO MUNNAR

It was 23^rd November 2010 early morning. As per the early plan Justin picked me up from my home by 5:45am. I was little tensed as we were little late. But when we reached school, only Nikhil was waiting for us. Many have to come. My planned morning photo session thus failed. Sooner some teachers and staff came and went for refreshment. The count down started and the first bus got filled up. Thus sharp 6’o’ clock went down to 6:30 am and we started our journey. Here we begins our study tour from St.Mary’s H S S to Munnar comprising the plus two students, princy, teachers, staff and few PTA members. We didn’t meet our girl classmates but we, the whole boys of XII A were together from that moment.

Our’s was the first bus to take off. The stereo ignited with a devotional song. We wondered to see some commerce boys started dancing for that song itself. We reserved the back side of 6he bus-no entry and exit for any one to our world; that was the condition. Johncy teacher, Mary teacher, Gigi teacher, PTA vice president and Shine chettan accompanied us. Later the amplifier sounds with DJ mixes. Then most of us get on to the dance floor. Geo and Nikhil were our inoculums. Countering to my expectations Justin and Febin fixed themselves to window seats. The sun light was just started scattering around the earth. We were leading; when we peep through the back window we couldn’t see any sigh of others. It was tuition time and many gorgeous were on the road to greet us. The thrill of dancing increased when the teachers joined us. We hadn’t even thought about such a dancer hidden inside them. Gigi teacher’s and Joncy teacher’s performance was marvelous.

The early enthusiasm ended as the stomach started ringing. Sooner the relief came. We stopped for break fast in a hotel in the vicinity of Chalakudy. When we jumped out it was already morning. The light has come. We were bathed in sweat. It was very nice to see every one in colour dress. The ecstasy increased as the second bus (girls only) arrived with many more colour dress. The unity broke as the hunger strikes. All took whatever place they got inside the hotel. We ate appam, egg curry and tea in a melting glass. I fastened up and went for a photo session. Different pauses, wonderful stills. I can’t see any one that much concentrated at any other instance. We thought about a small purchasing but the prize tags pushed us out. Then some groups photos. The class photo failed due to lack of cooperation from girls.

Now only we observed the bus we travelled. It was of “Brothers”-50 seat deluxe coach with laser. There were three busses, boys only girls only and mixed. Kerstin said that their sharp 6’o’clock wet to seven, that’s why they ere late. While we mounted our bus the third bus arrived. Great timing to reduce rush! After a small rest the journey continued. There occurred an exchange of teachers, due to unknown reasons. But it was favoring for us because our class teacher Jancy had come to our bus except she was separated by a distance as she sit in the front. We could see her eyes always zoomed towards us. Antony from the c class was transferred from the third bus to ours due to lack of company-justified by teachers. But his arrival was not accepted by every one. Clinton and I tried to dissect the laser and woofer. Both were already book to home.

We thought the third bus would be silent as it was mixed and most of the teachers and princy was in that bus. They sat in the middle row bisecting the bus. But countering to our assumption all were on the dance floor. As the dancing intensified the partition also strengthened by tying a cloth across the path way! I taught after breakfast all will be back with high energy performance. But most went to rest and it took time for a restart.

When his favorite song ‘ringa ringa’ was played Justin got up from his seat. I was so happy but with the end of the song returned back. To my wonder Joswin, Edu and Donald entered the arena. I hadn’t even thought they would dance but they did an excellent work. The sound system created a little problem the woofer was just above us and the volume was too high. We could feel our chest vibrating with the beats. Thus Jeo went down to a corner. Then it was fancy dress session. Nikhil and Febin were competing with Febin’s coat, Edu’s muffler etc. I tried to keep in touch with our girl classmates but while activating the message offer some thing went wrong and my balance went negative. Then the only way in front of me…I took Nikhil’s mobile and sent messages to all my friends. There after miscalls and messages but later Nikhil annexed me and he started chating. I was pushed aside. Then the hairpin curves came. Clinton suggested his tendency of vomiting and we provided him some medicine-lemon-from teacher. Dipin opened his food reserve, kurkure, layz etc.which increased the essence of journey. But as the nature reveals its beauty our attention went to it. It was the most beautiful part of western Ghats-green covered mountains, waterfalls but only for a glance. The driver slows down when he reaches near some beautiful water falls.

At last we reached Mattupety-our initial destination. We crossed the dam but not stopped. We were confused but later realized it was reserved for return. Thus we went to echo point. I could see impatient waiting in few one’s face. As the bus stops they ran for a small job. I was happy to get a company. There were many stalls mainly caps. Varied varieties of caps. We went down to the lake. Even though it was an artificial reservoir its beauty was incomparable. There were boating, horse riding, shooting etc. To our luck the camera’s battery went down. But we didn’t fail before the natural beauty; we copied it all in our mind. An amazing still was waiting for us; Mary teacher was playing with a toy clarinet.

It was too cold there. We fought for both Febin’s coat and Nikhil- both were too hot. As the time ended we moved back. The bus again crossed over the dam. It was such a feeling that we were in a boating. It stopped in the parking slot, on the bank of the lake. We had our lunch there. It was vegetable meal but outside atmosphere and natural essence increased the taste as our mind went full. The travelling Agency brought the food in a maruthy car; I think it’s from Adimali. So we got good food. There was drizzle. After lunch we went for a walk and purchasing. Preethy appeared before me with a big packet of kurkure. We met most of our classmates there. Most of us bought a cap and spend some time over the dam. Justin bought a huge cowboy hat. The water level was almost top. There were thandoori corns sold every where. It was nice to see the flames coming out from the blower and the stuff suited he climate. While enjoying the beauty of the dam, the peaceful lake which appeared to be a giant mirror due to its stillness, the forest covered mountains, the crazy fog, the twilight, tempted us to stay there for long. It was around 2:00pm and the whistle blown. It was funny to see the whistle worn by Jancy teacher, very childish. When we asked her to remove it she said how could she control the whole girls? For our request she hide it with her shall. We then mounted the bus to our next destination.

The journey become much more interesting as the native vegetations passed through the windows. Tea plantations were such a beauty. There were carrot and pineapple grown. The carrots along with its shoot were sold on the road side. We saw a herd of elephants in the grass land. Terrace farming was common there. Even though the vegetations show a beauty of uniformity but they were mostly artificial plantations. The trees found were all timber wood trees; teak, rosewood etc. the smell of eucalypt penetrates through our nose. The architecture was also interesting. Small huts mainly roofed with asbestos but were built as colonies in a single building block. These were mainly of plantation workers. Its chimneys were different and he smoke coming out from each created a great picture.

At last we reached Rajamala. But our desire to see the Nilgiri Tahrs has to be satisfied with the posters. The forest guards said that there were no tahrs up there due to climatic changes. Bus as we came we decided to go up. Even though it was not the season mangoes were sold there with chilly and salt. We have to wait in a long queue and then mound on a forest reserve bus to go to the top ranges. The natives and guards were all Tamils. The cameras were prohibited but we took great stills with our mobile. Thanks for modern technology. The cold increased as we go up. We were tensed about Dipin as he was absent for the last whole week due to fever and he was just recovering and mainly for our desire he came. When the twilight falls over the tender tea leaves a yellowish green appearance covered the whole mountain ranges which made our eyes much chiller. We could see almost the whole ranges even from the bus itself. The swiftly moving fog, which was like caressing the tea plantations and the distant view of the numerous waterfalls were awesome.

When we reached the top there were a waiting shead, a coffee shop, and a museum. A little confusion spread as we transported as fragments and the tickets were with teachers and they didn’t reached yet. For our wonder at that location we got range for mobile. The cold was unbearable. I sticked to Justin. Some people there said us to eat two ice creams to reduce the cold. Some among us did as they said. Later princy came with the tickets and we went for the ride. we have to walk around about two kilometers. It was interesting on the high range with many small water falls, greeny hilltops, rocks, grasslands, but no sign of tahrs. We saw unflowered neelakuriji. That was the soul of our tour. We even passed through fog-we were very much excited at that time. The nature created a slide show as it hides and shows sceneries with that fog. We returned quickly as the cold was unbearable. That was really a great place. We returned by the same bus to the valley. We have to wait for other for long. It went 6:00pm we purchased some gifts and emptied our food reserve. Kiran brought a big bottle of sprite but he remembers it only then. Then our favorite food kapalandi was distributed. The dark spread faster. We were very late and a rumor of cancellation of camp fire spread. At last we started our return trip. Then the lights went off, the music went on, and the ever waited laser show began. It was magnificent. The green and red lights forming different patters in every look and corners of the bus, even on us, along with the music were quiet exciting. But due to some reasons the lights went on. Thinking there is no camp fire every one emptied their full energy on the performance.

At Adimali we stopped for dinner, but for our surprise the camp fire waited behind it. Raw fire wood burning on petrol, bad music system and unimpressive music. Our expectations went down. Teachers tried to motivate us. But none danced. At last some danced only for the time sake. One girl lost her ear ring and a small fight occurred between the camp fire which all made the tour really live. We had our dinner and return with a great class photo. Jancy teacher appeared again in another cartoon getup. Just like babies she wore a woolen scarf around her head. About 10:00pm the bus started. The cinema played-pokiriraja. Due to the impact of camp fire we were shuffled and pushed to front for neutralization. But some of us lost our seats. Me and Febin laid down-THARA TICKET. Then the number increased. Lithin mid while vomited but doesn’t created any distraction. As the film finished I woke up and it was Chalakudy. Every one was a sleep. Only teachers were applauding viewing the film. I requested for the laser again. The climax of tour! Only XII ‘A’ boys were wake and we done a full energy performance. Unfortunately we have to drop Ajay in Kalletunkara. The performance was at its zenith but we reached school very sooner. But we enjoyed a lot and had a great ending. It was 1:45am. All our boys stayed in our class room. But I couldn’t give them a company. With that as a missing and a lots of sweet memories I returned and Gayathri dropped me back home…..

The scene is inside a typical Indian government office. A foreigner was staring at some documents, then he asked eagerly to the officer, “hey man why this document in different scripts, isn’t it an official document?” Then the officer replied “This document can either be filled in English our official language or in Hindi our national language or in the local language. This choice is given in every official document. ” seeing the unsatisfied face of the foreigner he showed a hundred rupee currency to him. The foreigner thunderstucked seeing many scripts in the currency. The officer explained, “This is our money and these are not designs but the languages used in our country.” The foreigner astonishingly asked, “diverse scripts in the currency, what’s this man?” the officer replied with a smile, “That’s what India is!”

We all are very much lucky to live in such a diverse country like this. Our nation accommodates vast varied diversities in all aspects. That’s what makes it unique from other nations. We all are familiar with the motto ‘Unity in Diversity’ which is the identity of our nation. Our nation is really a collection of diversity in many cases such as linguistic, ethanic, races, religious, costoms, traditions, society, lifestyle, food habits, festivals, topography, climate, wildlife, vegetation etc.Like this our country is really a wonder to the world. As we all know it is the seventh-largest country by geographical area, the second-most populous country with over 1.18 billion people, and the most populous democracy in the world. Home to the ancient Indus Valley Civilisation and a region of historic trade routes and vast empires, our subcontinent was identified with its varied commercial and cultural wealth for much of its long history. Four of the world's major religions—Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism—originated here, while Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam arrived in the first millennium CE and shaped our diverse culture. We have a pluralistic, multilingual and multiethnic society and a diversity of wildlife in a variety of protected habitats. Our economy is the world's eleventh largest economy by nominal GDP and the fourth largest by purchasing power parity. Since 1991, India has become one of the fastest growing major economies in the world. Our country is classified as a newly industrialised country and is one of the four BRIC nations.It is a nuclear weapons state and has the third-largest standing armed force in the world, It is a founding member of the United Nations, the Non-Aligned Movement, the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation, the East Asia Summit and the G20 industrial nations, and a member of the Commonwealth of Nations and the G8+5.

Talking about our heritage the Stone Age rock shelters with paintings in Madhya Pradesh are the earliest known traces of human life in our country. The first known permanent settlements appeared about 8,500 years ago and gradually developed into the Indus Valley Civilisation. It was followed by the Vedic period, which laid the foundations of Hinduism and other cultural aspects of early Indian society, and ended in the 500s BCE. From around 550 BCE, many independent kingdoms and republics known as the Mahajanapadas were established across the country. In the third century BCE, most of South Asia was united into the Maurya Empire by Chandragupta Maurya and flourished under Ashoka the Great. From the third century CE, the Gupta dynasty oversaw the period referred to as ancient "India's Golden Age". Empires in Southern India included those of the Chalukyas, the Cholas and the Vijayanagara Empire. Science, technology, engineering, art, logic, language, literature, mathematics, astronomy, religion and philosophy flourished under the patronage of these kings. Following invasions from Central Asia between the 10th and 12th centuries, much of North India came under the rule of the Delhi Sultanate and later the Mughal Empire. Under the rule of Akbar the Great, India enjoyed much cultural and economic progress as well as religious harmony.

Now let’s consider our linguistic and religious diversity. Our nation is home to two major linguistic families: Indo-Aryan (spoken by about 74% of the population) and Dravidian (spoken by about 24%). Other languages spoken in India come from the Austro-Asiatic and Tibeto-Burman linguistic families. In addition, every state and union territory has its own official languages, and the constitution also recognises in particular 21 "scheduled languages".

Our religions form one of the most defining aspects of our culture. Religions which were founded in India include Hinduism, Buddhism Sikhism and Jainism which are considered to be a successor to the ancient Vedic religion. As per the 2001 census our country comprises of Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Jews, Zoroastrians and around 8.1% of our population is constituted by Tribal. Ours is the third-highest Muslim population in the world and has the highest population of Muslims for a non-Muslim majority country. Though Buddhism gradually declined in India it played an influential role in shaping our philosophy and thought. From the ancient time it self our country is well known for its spirituality. Most of our culture, art forms, architectures and many aspects have a religious base. We acquired our rich varied heritage and culture through the intermingling of these religions.

Now into the cultural aspects, we will be astonished seeing inter related but contrasting aspects.The symbol of unconditional love- Taj Mahal is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site considered to be of "outstanding universal value". Our culture is marked by a high degree of syncretism and cultural pluralism. India's cultural tradition dates back to 8,000 BCE and has a continuously recorded history for over 2,500 years. With its roots based in the Indus Valley Tradition, our culture took a distinctive shape during the 11th century BCE Vedic age which laid the foundation of Hindu philosophy, mythology, literary tradition and beliefs and practices, such as dhárma, kárma, yóga and mokṣa. It has managed to preserve established traditions while absorbing new customs, traditions, and ideas from invaders and immigrants and spreading its cultural influence to other parts of Asia, mainly South East and East Asia. Our traditional family values are highly respected, and multi-generational patriarchal joint families have been the norm, although nuclear families are becoming common in urban areas. An overwhelming majority of ours have their marriages arranged by their parents and other respected family members, with the consent of the bride and groom. Marriage is thought to be for life, and the divorce rate is extremely low. Our family set up and culture related to marriage ceremony are highly respected and recognised in the international level and also considered as a model to the declining western family relations. Our cuisine is characterised by a wide variety of regional styles and sophisticated use of herbs and spices. Spices, such as black pepper which are now consumed world wide, are originally native to our subcontinent. We also have varied varieties of food habits suiting different regions and climates of our country. We also follow foreign food habits. The ayurveda, unani and siddha systems are the traditional medical branches flourished in our country. Apart from this a large number of local and flock stream medical practices are also our wealth.We also favour foreign medicines of homeopathy and allopathic. Traditional Indian dress varies across the regions in its colours and styles and depends on various factors, including climate.

Popular styles of dress include draped garments such as sari for women and dhoti or lungi for men; in addition, stitched clothes such as salwar kameez for women and kurta-pyjama and European-style trousers and shirts for men, are also popular.Our architecture is one area that represents the diversity of our culture. Much of it, including notable monuments such as the Taj Mahal and other examples of Mughal architecture and South Indian architecture, comprises a blend of ancient and varied local traditions from several parts of the country and abroad. Vernacular architecture also displays notable regional variation. Our music covers a wide range of traditions and regional styles. Classical music largely encompasses the two genres – North Hindustani, South Carnatic traditions and their various offshoots in the form of regional folk music. Our dance too has diverse folk and classical forms. Among the well-known folk dances are the bhangra, bihu , sambalpuri etc. Eight dance forms, many with narrative forms and mythological elements, have been accorded classical dance status by India's National Academy of Music, Dance, and Drama. These are: bharatanatyam, kathak kathakali mohiniyattam, kuchipudi, manipuri, odissi sattriya .Theatre in India often incorporates music, dance, and improvised or written dialogue. Often based on Hindu mythology, but also borrowing from medieval romances, and news of social and political events, Our theatre includes the bhavai of state of Gujarat, the jatra of West Bengal, the nautanki and ramlila of North India, the tamasha of Maharashtra, the burrakatha of Andhra Pradesh, the terukkuttu of Tamil Nadu, and the yakshagana of Karnataka.

In the case of vegetation and wild life India is home to about half of the world’s tiger population .India, which lies within the Indomalaya ecozone, displays significant biodiversity. One of eighteen mega diverse countries, it is home to 7.6% of all mammalian, 12.6% of all avian, 6.2% of all reptilian, 4.4% of all amphibian, 11.7% of all fish, and 6.0% of all flowering plant species.India's forest cover ranges from the tropical rainforest of the Andaman Islands, Western Ghats, and North-East India to the coniferous forest of the Himalaya. Between these extremes lie the sal-dominated moist deciduous forest of eastern India; the teak-dominated dry deciduous forest of central and southern India; and the babul-dominated thorn forest of the central Deccan and western Gangetic plain. According to latest report, less than 12% of India's landmass is covered by dense forest. We have 172, or 2.9%, of IUCN-designated threatened species. These include the Asiatic Lion, the Bengal Tiger, and the Our white-rumped vulture. Along with more than five hundred wildlife sanctuaries, India hosts thirteen biosphere reserves, four of which are part of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves; twenty-five wetlands are registered under the Ramsar Convention. We also have a variety of topographic features and relief which provides variety of climates in different regions. The gangatic plane, Himalayas, Thar deserts, the cold desert of Ladakh the Deccan plateau, western and Eastern Ghats, the costal planes etc are some of our treasures.

We all know about many nations disintegration due to small differences in its people. Comparing the size of western nations each of our state is equal to a nation. Considering all the diversities in our country we may wonder how it is possible to come under one nation. The binding force of our country is the national feeling, which is the reason for its existence. The feeling of oneness, we all belong to one nation, love for the motherland, we all are related through history and we all share the same heritage and legacy, all these aspects stimulates every Indian to ignore all the differences with his fellow beings and to live in brother hood and harmony. This is the real success of our nation over all other problems and challenges such as poverty, illiteracy, terrorism etc faced by us. Every citizen is responsible to respect protect and promote all the kind of diversities in our nation and thus sustain the colours of India!

Like the dawn and day babbles,

We sang the farewell rhythm!....

Rhythm of my heart went wrong,
As the thunder strikes and-
Breeze from it blows away
The ashes from my heart….

Revealing the hidden crystal fire-
And oxidizing it to its zenith;
I feel, I melt in that heat
And flow into the mother ocean!

“Hidden diamonds are worthless;
As well as prize less !”
But the instinct of mind
Realized only through understanding!

Minds are linked with a sacred thread,
Some thing like birth tie
Or some thing from off time…..
As the birth cycles; a force arrives!

Deeds defines a relation,
We unveiled the truth of life.
You occupied the vacuum of my mind;
‘Fulfillment’ and ‘spiritual satisfaction’.

Why we met sis?
That’s why we have to separate…
Was it our destiny?
Or laws or plays of some might….

My heart feels heavier,
My mind cries in the wounds of memory.
A crab in my throat!
Mind tempts to weep….but it doesn’t came out…

Why the fate so cruel?
Like flames my mind shatters…
Digest me slowly as an incense stick-
Known or unknown sorrows….

Oh! Dear sis,
Here we divert!
Into the flow of volatile life,
With a scope of reunion….

Like vapors we accents to heights,
From the same base…
[A scope of meeting in the clouds!]
After enjoying a life span we came down…

An ultimate rejoining is sure,
In the mother ocean.
But sis my heart fears….
We will be precipitate of ashes at that time…..!

My Tour to Koorg and Wonder la!

I was a little late but I adjusted to sharp. Precisely when I finished my preparation Sooraj arrived. My journey starts from that moment. We aimed to school. But I have a secondary objective, to pick up Akhil. After taking Akhil from his home we met Karthik on the way, but he said that he will be coming with his father. When we reached our school compound we found that the bus has arrived and some associates. At the time we landed the power fails. Some thinks it is because of our bad luck but I wish to think that we are luminous.
Most of us arrived at the correct time but none from the official side. It was about 8:30 pm. I strategically booked our seats. At 8:45 our teachers have arrived and at sharp 9:00 we started our journey.
We were about 48. Six were girls of 9th STD and the rest were boys from 8,9and10. Four teachers and our school manager accompanied us. The tour package was by ‘Namesthe Kerakla’.
After moving a bit the music starts and we started dancing. We all enjoyed a lot. At first Akhil sat aside later he came into arena. While dancing my spectacles got damaged but I didn’t gave up. Later I sat side when I become tired. Then the movie came on the reels. It was ‘Aarya’. I was not interested in it. So i acted to be a sleep. Akhil , Karthik and I sat together. Karthik was very much interested in the movie and his eyes were planted in the TV.Akhil was a little interested. I slept over his shoulders, after a sleep when I wake up I found that both of them were laying over me. Some of the seniors were sleeping on the footpath of the bus. I taught it was Wayanad. The bus suddenly stopped. I saw many eyes glowing through the windows. I taught they were deer’s. The bus had stopped for a break. I wake my friends and went out. After an interval the journey continued. After a while i heard the children shouting wild beef but I was not even able to open my eyes …………
The next time I wake up it was dawn. The atmosphere was very cold. I found that we had crossed the borders. The advertisements also help us to understand the locality. On the either side of the road it was fields. The vista was unexplainably striking. I gave a pep up for my eyes and brain. The real topographic variation can be noticed there. That time I perceived the sun rising with a red gown. It later changes to orange. Some were busy copying the panorama in their cameras but I didn’t have a camera but my mind is enough for that so I meditated over it for a while.
At last we reached our accommodation center. We got a room for shower. There should be five in one. We invited two more from the ninth to our room. They were Josepaul and Abba. Our guide said to be quick but we were lazy till the scolding came. We got freshen up and went out. According to the program first place was Koorg. We entered a restaurant near our hotel for breakfast. The food was quiet good. Idli vada dosa etc…The tea was served in a huge tumbler but it was filled quartr.
After filling our belly we went to a forest reserve. It was an island surrounded by the river Kaveri. There were hanging bridge, deer park, elephant ride, and tree huts etc. we can walk around the island along the water body. We started walking. It was very much exciting just like trucking. On one side it was the river and on the other there was forest…after covering some distance we found that we were left apart. We were scared. We were nine and no living things were on our sight. We were a little afraid.
Our walking seems infinitive. It was just like a life with out aim. We concluded we were trapped. We thought of walking back. But we had covered too much way. At last we determined to step forward. Some ran just saying they were practicing for the 800m race. But after some time we founded them on the way, tired and gasping heavily like dogs. We then decided to enjoy the trip. I taught it was a means to forget fear. We hauled, sang flock songs, screamed etc.
Like a shooting star we met to persons. They were Chinese. We tried our level best to communicate with them and found out that we have to walk three more km to reach the entrance. Totally it was five. With firm steps we walked. Covering some distance we came to saw some people. They seem to be the workers of that reserve. On the way, we split into three gangs and at last joined together. Finally we made it. We reached the deer park and saw the rest of our gang. Now our heart beat normally. We rested on the bench near by and then returned; having some drinks. Some of us went for purchasing. We saw that the children younger than us were working in the malls. They tried to cheat us but we escaped.
After that we went to the main agenda of the day- The Golden temple. It was a temple of Lord Buddha. It was run by a Chinese monastery. It was a huge temple with complex constructions. For others it seemed to be just a beautiful work of men but my eyes cached a fusion mixture of culture. The design of the temple was Chinese but its structure and engineering was Indian. Inside the temple it was a great spiritual atmosphere with huge idols and vast hall and the silence. Totally it was very much favorable for meditation. The cold inside the temple can be felt by my mind.
In side it we saw Chinese musical instruments and a miniature of the temple itself, the huge walls were decorated by painted art work. Even though those illustrations depicted Chinese stories the art used was south Indian. The characters were unerringly painted like the Chinese civilians but the style of drawing had a soul of India... I stared at each part of the temple for long to copying them to my brain.
We saw there huge mechanisms and also saw a prayer ceremony. When we come out it, it was mid day and the roads were very hot. It baked our foot so every body ran. I walked because speculate of the temple made me comatose.
After that we had our lunch at the hotel near by. The food was good. We then went for a purchase.
After taking a rest we went to a water falls. It took to much time to reach there but it was not an interesting one. After walking a long distance behind the sound of water we found it. But it doesn’t entertain us. We went back. Then we had a small coffee break.
We then went to a park. It could be called as a garden but the time gave it the beauty. It was sun set and the darkness was spreading. It was a hill trop and from one side we can see the whole city far away. There were beautiful sceneries on four directions. We enjoyed that evening very much. I drew many stunning pitchers on my mind that day….when the stars and the moon appeared it become lovelier. Then the musical fountains started. It was mind glowing. The cold was biting but we never minded it. Later we returned back to the hotel. We had our dinner there. It was not quiet good. A rumor spread about camp fire and we saw a preparation for that. But our aspirations declined. There was nothing. Back to the room we celebrated. There were drinks, snacks, music etc. Till 11‘O’clock we talked. it was a nice experience.. In the balcony, looking at the stars with the caring of breeze, we talked in the darkness. Oh! I can’t explain that feeling. After the jocks we went to bed. We slept together.
Next morning Akhil wake earlier hearing the alarm. But we pretended to be unheard. Later we were pushed out of bed. It was early in the morning. Some of us were too lazy to get a bath in that cold early morning. At last we got ready and went out. We found that most of the others were all set. The bus emitted smoke to Wonderla. We vacated the room and went to the final destination. We reached Wonderla at 11am. We were split out to enjoy. My companions were very much afraid to go to huge rides. So it was boring for a while. At 1 pm the water rides started. There after we where in the water. When ever I came out of water I got shivering. I taught it is better to be in the water. Later I under stood that the wet cloths made me shudder. We had meals there. It was quiet good. We enjoyed very much in the wave pool, rain disco and lazy river.
In the evening we went out. To the finishing ….we traveled back. On the way we had a break for dinner. It was fried rice and I don’t liked it. There were competition between Jalib and Krishnajith.
At last every thing got over and when the bus started I went to sleep. Next morning when I wake the air was mine, it was my region. I walked to the front for enjoying the traveling beauty. At last we reached the school back at 8 am. With a lot of tired, memories and experience I went back home for a great sleep. GOOD NIGHT!

We the people of India have a rich heritage of worshiping trees. Our ancestors give much spiritual importance to trees. They worshiped trees, which implies they respected them. They dedicate their life to the nature. For them the forest was not mearly a source of commodities but also a habitat and a place of spiritual importance.our ancient literatures have references to this culture.
People all over India worship neem tree. The Hindu goddess Mariamman is synonymous with the neem tree and is worshipped for her healing powers. In many communities neem leaves are hung in bunches at the entrance to the house as a symbolic way to keep out evil spirit. The neem found use in the Indus Valley Civilization. References in Sanskrit literatures indicate its antiquity. It is sacred to the Hindus and is associated with the goddess Sitala, the small pox goddess. Apart from religious importance, it has various medicinal properties.
Tulsi or the sacred basil is regarded as the most sacred herb in India. It is believed that the Goddess Shri has been included in it. The sacred herb not only has religious significance, but it also has important medicinal and environmental uses.
Sthala vrikshas or sacred trees are found all over in India. In Tamilnadu, almost every temple is associated with a plant or tree connected and the history and mythology of the temple and deity. The tradition of associating trees with gods and goddesses traced from the sangam literatures.
This tradition has been ostracized. We may think as this as a primitive but this culture has many scientific aspects. It can provide sanity. It is also a symbol of respect towards the nature and a form of conservation of forestry.

A Wake....

On the artery of life,
I traveled so far!
The roads were so silky-
That I traveled unaware.
I miss some thing! My mind said,
When I reached half the way.
I cracked my brain
And found an unsatisfactory in my mind.
I decide to amend my destiny!
I taught I have some thing to do with this world,
Like a fish on land I suffocated…
The stars said I was born for some thing,
So I take the knife of courage,
Which has the sharpness of knowledge
To cut down the crowded bushes of darkness.
All my undergrowths exerted a force of gravity
With all my strength I over comes it.
I felt a spirit of enthusiasm in the obstacles
Then I found a real satisfaction in my new route!
At last I found my treasure in the light!
And it was a universal fact! Which I have to prophet
-every one is unique and has unique deeds to this world…….

HOW CAN WE SEE THE DARKNESS?

We cannot see the darkness. It is only a state. We can only understand it, cannot feel it. Then what is the colour of darkness? We may think it is black. The phenomenon of sight occurs when the electromagnetic radiations present in the atmosphere at a specific velocity get reflected back by the object into our eyes. The reflected rays enter into our eyes through the cornea and pupil and then get focused by the crystalline lens on the retina where it forms a real and inverted image. The formation of the image on retina creates a sensation (visual) on the photosensitive cells, which in turn creates chemical reactions, which can produce chemical impulses, which travel through the optic nerve as electrical impulse into the brain where the dense mass of specialized neurons interprets it into the image, which we say to be seen. So for the whole process to take place there exist a vital role for the light. The dark ness is a state in which there is no existence of electromagnetic radiations (even as reflected, refracted or even scattered form). Thus we are not seeing the darkness or not feeling it. We only understand it. We may say that there is no colour for darkness because we can see a colour when the refracted dispersed light ray make a sensation on the light sensitive cells. This never occurs in the darkness.
So what we feel in the dark ness is a blank in the visualizing part of brain.

The unlimited Maternity
One morning I had an encounter with a little pretty kitten at my school. The naughty children were making fun of it. I feel pity and took it to a safer place. After a long dilemma I decided to take it home. I was afraid and cautious because my mother doesn’t like cats.” An hideous hairy four legged creature”, she used to address it. She was too much conscious about the diseases caused via it. At last I engrossed courage and took it home. On the way we began to thaw. But our growing friendship freezes when we reached before my mother’s -doctor’s- eyes. She shouted at us, in its impact the kitten jumped from my hands and hide behind the bushes.
I was so depressed. She scolded me with her conservative health theories. I went to my room. When I opened the windows I saw the kitten in the garden. I watched it playing with butterflies. After some times I saw my mother entering the garden with a small bowl. I watched her activities apprehensively. She took the kitten and gave it milk to drink. While it drinks she caress it over its head. I was at the peak of my ecstasy.
I thought, despite she is a mother….
